Salma Badr is a Junior Associate in the Corporate Department at Helal & Partners International Law Firm. She began her legal journey with an internship at PwC Egypt’s Tax and Legal Services Department during her university studies. After graduating in 2024 from the Faculty of Law (English Section) at Ain Shams University, Salma joined Helal & Partners as an intern, where she developed key skills in legal drafting, contract review, and research. She then transitioned to her current role, contributing as a valued member of the corporate team under the guidance of Dr. Hadir Helal, a respected mentor in the legal field.

Salma Badr provides effective legal support to clients and stakeholders across a broad range of corporate matters. In her current role at Helal & Partners, Salma assists in drafting legal documents, preparing contracts, conducting legal research, and supporting compliance tasks. She also handles matters related to general assemblies and board of directors’ meetings. Her expertise continues to develop as she works closely with senior team members in the corporate department.

She holds influential board positions, including on the advisory board of Emaar Misr for Development Company and the Holding Company for Tourism and Hotels. Additionally, she is a board trustee for the Association for Electricity Market Development, where she plays a critical role in advancing innovation and efficiency in the energy sector. Hadeer’s broad expertise and leadership have made her a key figure in navigating complex legal and operational challenges across various industries.

 

Salma has gained hands-on experience in corporate law, focusing on legal drafting, contract preparation, research, and compliance. She provides support in key corporate governance matters, including general assemblies and board meetings. Her work requires effective legal analysis, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring legal accuracy and compliance.
